Cervantes is a PHP5/MySQL based shopping cart and ordering system. Currently code is mostly functional. Uses a number of third party classes, including ADOdb, Smarty, Phalidate, ConfigMagik, PHPMailer, (more...) Quickly migrating code to a fairly modular framework, with modules to do things like display Google Ads, Amazon AWS, and a couple more custom modules (like list recently viewed products). The Administration interface has not been built. When it is, it will support: ability to sign up for payment gateways (Authorize.net, Paypal, etc); ways to manage the catalog; order fulfillment.

Customer must be logged in to purchase item
Customers must have at least one address in system
Address can be added during order process
Products can be cross linked
Data mapping form->db of field names

Admin

Can use Amazon API to add items to the catalog
Can set up Google Ad words
Can sign up for a credit card processor

Can create 'static' pages and edit them with htmlarea
Can define where static page is listed in left nav
Products can have 'related' products
